Richard Hunter
Managing Director
Richard is a founding partner of Boleng. He has nearly three decades of professional experience in the built environment, the majority of which was focussed on the retail fuels infrastructure space in Africa. He worked for over 10yrs as retail engineering principal for one of the major international oil companies in Southern Africa. Prior to his time in fuels, Richard operated extensively in the public and commercial infrastructure sectors, where he had a strong record of delivery.
Richard began his career in 1991 as a quantity surveyor.
Arni Kallis
Operations Manager
Experienced Engineering Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Oil & Gas industry. Skilled in Guest Lecturing, Negotiation, Systems Thinking, Management, and Business Process Improvement. Strong operations professional with a Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Cape Town and an Advanced Certificate in Management for Oil & Gas from Rhodes University.

Leevan Govender
HSSE Manager
Leevan Govender is a Health & Safety specialist with over 15 years’ experience in HSSE, Quality and Contractor management. Leevan specializes in ISO systems and process approach implementation. He gained his experience with one of the largest geotechnical contractors in Southern Africa (Franki Africa/EsorFranki). Some of the key projects in his portfolio include the Moses Mabhida stadium, King Shaka Airport, Bombela Stadium, and piling at Rio Tinto & Nkomati Mines. He was also involved in a variety of highly technical operations involving offshore & onshore drilling in Mozambique and Madagascar.
Russell Clarke
Design and Cost Manager
Russell is a founding partner of Boleng. He has four decades of professional experience in the built environment.
Russell began his career in 1980 as a Quantity Surveyor for a large building and civil contractor in the public and private sector. After a 4 year spell with Shell as the construction manager for Shell South Zone between 2000 – 2004 , Russell became a design , cost and project management consultant for several major oil companies in sub Saharan Africa . He has an outstanding record of successful project delivery and total client service throughout Africa .
Russell is professionally registered with ASAQS and SACPCMP
